Been reading post on R1 vs R4. Has anybody tried dual rear tires? I have them on dads old 8n R1 that is 11.2x28. With 400-500 lbs on the rear lift it will go where you can't hardly walk.

I put dual rear's on my old L185DT. Traction was awesome, and there was never a problem with the drop axles. I had to build my own spacer hubs for it. I've posted pictures on my home page. Tire size was 9.5/9-24.
I haven't felt the need for additional traction with the L3200DT, with 12.4-24 filled tires and 600+ lbs on the 3ph.
