We are going on about 37 days without rain. Need to plant green fields but it will only feed the birds. My pond is the lowest it has been in 5 years since it was built. Pasture behind house is bad dry.

No more than 4 days without rain. All summer. There is a spot on my driveway that never really dried. If i could send the rain to you i certainly would. If it was that dry up here the big concern would be forest fires. Especially now,all the emergency fire fighters are gone for the season.
I'm near Birmingham and we're under a burn ban. There have been a number of forest fires. My pastures are so dry I'm already feeding the horses hay. Don't usually have to start till Thanksgiving. Normally plant winter rye in pastures last week of Sept but a waste if time and seed this year. I'm sure I'll lose a lot of the pasture grass because of it.

I'm in central MS and we've had no measurable rain in over 2.5 months. Burn bans have been in effect for the last months.

We just got off a burn ban last week after some rain. Before that, it was 6 weeks, with just one little sprinkle.
Trying to burn slash...really have to work to keep them going. Have to feed them and sort as I go. Sooo tired of wet.
I'm in central MS as well. It's dry for sure and no real chance of rain in the near future

Just yesterday (10-26-'16) local news stated it has been the driest summer in 84 years. Haven't had to mow the grass in over a month. North Ga.
