Drawbar to Pintle Hook?

I looked underneath the tractor and it seems like it “short” to me,… if I pin the drawbar “extended” it’s only in the pocket it goes into by about 4”. I would have thought it’d be a lot longer.

If I’m understanding it correctly, install one pin to secure it to the drawbar? So, it won’t be “solid” mounted and may move a bit left to right?

Do this as well as extending the tongue Sean?

Reread as I edited it:

So the tractors drawbar would go inside the tube and pinned / bolted on.
So no swing right left.

You could give me the all the dimensions of your draw bar and how much longer you need and I could fab it up for you and ship it to ya. ;)

Look under the tractor and see if the drawbar is fully extended, as there are multiple mounting holes.

Then get this and drill one hole to slide it over your draw bar.
That will give you the biggest versatility as you will now have a 2" reciver hitch for the draw bar.

I just had a reply all ready to send to you. Tried to close out a pop up add and it disappeared. I’d REALLY like to utilize that 3 point hitch you just posted. My question is this,… when I used that 3 point hitch with my L3200, it would slam up on the 3 point lifting arms, and raise the rear of the tractor up off the ground. Is there a way to use this 3 point hitch without having the arms come up when dumping a heavy load? This would be ideally the absolute best way to go imo.

There are two holes and they're only 1-3/4" apart so not a lot of adjustment.

Yes check chain from hitch to clevis on draw bar corrects that. ;)
Make the chain long enough to lift the trailer, and short enough not to bottom out the three point to the top of limit.

Out of curiosity, what size of of square or rectangular tubing would you go with? I’d “really” like to be able to hand a print to the weld shop if at all possible as it would take a lot to get the trailer itself to their shop. Lastly, how long would you make said piece? I’d rather have the trailer much further away from the tractor than pictured. But not sure what a decent distance would be between the two that you’d recommend if you were doing it yourself? 3’? 4’? Too long?
I'd probably go with a 5"x5"x3/8" A500 piece that's 4ft long. With a 2,000 lb static load on the very end you'd see less than 1/8" of deflection. I'd rather over build than under build so would play it safe. With reasonable gussets between the box section and the plate that would bolt to the trailer, you'd have a really good dump trailer set up for pulling off the drawbar, which is the best place to pull from when pulling heavy trailers.

Congrats on the M7060 too. You chose a really good model for sure.

you chain the 3PH 'down' to the axle.
oh wow!! This would answer all my issues I believe! Anything to be aware of if doing it this way? Assuming don’t want to raise the 3 point past the point where the chain gets tight? Sorry, I’m not well versed in this type of thing.

After considering the options, I will go this route. I’m very accident t prone so no sense in inviting trouble.

Thanks George! It is a whole new world compared to my L3200. Going to ease into it for sure. The power is incredible!
