drain plug gasket..

so how many of you change the engine drain plug gasket every time...
(i just found out that it's a recommended step, not mentioned in the owners manual).

Well mine cost .88 cents for the factory Kubota drain plug gasket. I prefer to change it every time. If you dont change it every time then maybe every other time.
Seems like a small price to pay for retaining such an important fluid.
You might want to buy extras the next time so you have them on hand.

Mine just takes a copper crush washer under the plug. Only time I replace those are when they start leaking. So, the one on the tractor hasn't been replaced
