I own two Kubotas and would like to add a M100GX to my inventory but am concerned about the DPF Kubota uses to reach Tier 4 interim emissions. Has anybody had any issues with Kubota DPFs?
So far from what I've read on here is most of the issues with the DPF is the B series tractors. They just don't make enough exhaust heat to keep the filter cleaned out.
The bigger tractors seem to be doing very well with it. The main object with the DPF is to put it on auto regen once running, and use minimal idle time. Keep the RPM's up and it seems to keep regen intervals spaced out.
Have a 2014 4060hstc.
Has regenerated twice, once at 28 hours and yesterday at 52 hours.
Regen took place as per owners manual.
Fuel usage is very good, .6 gallon average for 54 hours.
No diesel smell either!
