Just purchased a 2019 L3301. 151 hrs. Dash display was dead due to blown 5 amp fuse. When the fuse was replaced I got a solid engine warning light with alarm at 1 second intervals. Trying to follow the steps for idle regen in the manual but instructions are not clear at least to me. Would appreciate any constructive advice.
Manual says park the unit and contact dealer.....

If you look at the chart below, it sounds like your tractor is at PM warning level 4 so a dealer will need to look at it. Did you buy it with the fuse blown so didn't know about this, or did you buy it and then the fuse blew?

It's sounding like you got taken advantage of. 😞
That tractor has to be running like poo. :poop:
That's a stage 4, you can't fix it.
It will require a dealer to do a computer controlled forced regen and even that may not make it work.
You may have to pay to have the DPF / DOC replaced/repaired.
I hope you don't as that's a $4K set of parts.

I'm slow typing, Yea what @McMXi said. ;)

I understand that the engine ecm requires the Kubota software
in order to get an attempt to regen,
Would removing the DPF and manually cleaning it help?

yup... common trick is to kill the display so buyer can't see error messages, hrs, etc....

sick of seeing so much auction stuff and facebook marketplace stuff that reads "runs like new" until buyer gets it home and finds out it is broken and being dumped on unsuspecting folks.

me I like to buy new and keep forever but realize others might not have the luxery. More so than ever it seems buyers need to be ultra cautious on buying used and taking the sellers word for it.

Not at stage 4, because the computer locks in the code and keep the motor derated till repaired and reset.

the tractor ran
Thank you for the info
The tractor ran fine. No power issues. Just the alarm code. I contacted the local dealer and took it to them today. They hooked it up to their magic computer and did a forced regen. Afterwards cleared out previous codes. Good to go. $330
out the door. I am pleased with the outcome. Thanks for you input

Great to hear that the issue has been resolved and for a reasonable cost, but interesting to read that the tractor ran fine. According to the manual the engine output is limited to 50% when in PM warning level 3 or 4, and clearly you were at level 4.

"Ran fine" was probably hard to tell for a new to him tractor. In any case, it should run fine now. :D

you'd be surprised how many people keep using them with the dpf completely plugged (level 5), and don't knwo that there's any problem. I mean, it's got beeping buzzers, flashing lights, and probably has been doing that for who knows how many hours...and they kept on trucking, er, tractoring, as if nothing was wrong.

Then auctions. People sell stuff at auctions because it's an easy way to dump junk or problematic stuff (yeah, i'll just call it "stuff"...) and never have to deal with the buyer in person. That way the "stuff" can be peddled and ain't nobody to complain to but the auctioneers, and I can guarantee you that they don't care one bit about the "stuff" that they're auctioning off.
