I was writing my first post here (a long one). When I went to post it, I was logged out and lost everything......

Never knew that. If I have a long post I get logged off too. It just asks me to log back in with nothing lost.

When you log in, you have the choice of how long to be logged in. I choose forever.
I was looking for that the other day and couldn't find it. Pointers? All I see when i log in, is "remember me", which only remembers my username.

If you go to the upper right corner of your screen and log in there before you create a post or reply, I've never had it happen to me. It only happens to me if I click "new thread" or "reply" when I'm not logged in.
