Morning,
Tractor = 2008 L48
I'm looking for this bearing, which should cost about $5-6 instead of the Kubota price of $32+.

Pretty easy to find if you know the size that Kubota will not give out..

Anybody replace this and has a size or number?

Steering Column Bearing and the Kubota part number are pictured.

Thanks Much,
-Bill

The part number is clearly visible in Messicks pictures. A bit of an oddball: Koyo 60/22RS

If quality isn't important to you-

Apparently it's a very common ATV bearing. Search for '44 22 12 bearing'.

RS = sealed one side
2RS = sealed both sides
ZZ = shielded both sides

Seeing as it's just for a low speed steering column shaft, additional friction from the double seals won't matter if you decide to go that route.

The rubbef seals will matter a lot in an unlubricated application like that column.

Thanks All,
Thanks All, Yes it need to be a sealed bearing and I just ordered one.

The one in there fell apart and it's going to be a bear getting it out. The cur clip is also rusted in and doesn't want to budge.
