The lender doesn't care what he pays for it. Only that they get their fees. So as I said, offer the seller $250 less and they can move whatever 1s and 0s around they want.

Very well said. (y)

When I ask for a "quote" I always ask for the "Out the door" price.

I could care less who gets what, I just concern myself with the "total cost".

Exactly! I got sick of the hidden fees. And the fee fees. And the fee for adding fees. All after a price is agreed on.

Correct for vehicles. But that doesn’t apply to tractors because they aren’t required to be registered.
Depends on where you are.
We have many Canadian contributors on OTT.
Tractors ARE required to be registered in Canada,....if ever driven on roadways.

Think you own anything? Try not paying your taxes and see what you still own.
Regardless, none of that has anything to do with it. The lender doesn't care what he pays for it. Only that they get their fees. So as I said, offer the seller $250 less and they can move whatever 1s and 0s around they want.
That is exactly how I have bought everything. Including a couple homes. Here is what I will pay, you decide who gets what out of that sum. Heck, just bought an ATV from a dealer 3 weeks ago this very way.
Often referred to as: "Out the door price"!

re: Tractors ARE required to be registered in Canada,....if ever driven on roadways.

NOT true in the province of Ontario. Anyone over the age of 15 can drive ANY piece of farm equipment (tractor, combine, etc. ) on any road, except 400 series), obviously with SMV on the back of tractor of implement. Anyone under 16 can drive ACROSS any road to get to the other side.

Don't know about other provinces, as it takes 2 days to go west out of Ontario in a car, it'd be 'forever' on my BX23S !!
