I see it’s been a while, but I’d like to chime in. I remember my first concert vividly. It was Madonna, and it left such a lasting impression on me. The combination of her incredible performance and the electric atmosphere ignited a passion in me for live events. Inspired by that experience, I pursued my dream of becoming an event organizer. Now, I organize concerts in my hometown, and I'm dedicated to providing the best possible experience for the audience by collaborating with top-notch professionals like the Hollywood Event Production team. Their expertise in production, lighting, and sound ensures that every concert I organize creates an unforgettable atmosphere that truly wows the crowd.

Guess I'm an anti-social hillbilly. I've never been to one and have no inclination to attend one!
I thought I might be the only one! Now I know there’s at least two of us! 😂

Never been to a concert either…

Yup, it was August 5th 1967. My sister and I went to see The Monkees in St Paul. I was 11, and my sister was 12, and we went unescorted 😱😱. Dad dropped us off, and we were told to wait in the same spot when the concert was over to pick us up. We sat in the nose bleed section, and once they started playing, all we heard was all the screams from the crowd. My sister took pictures, and when they were developed all she really had was the brightly lit heads from the flash of the people standing in front of us. Wasn’t the best concert ever that I was at, that would be Elton John, and Billy Joel in 2001.

I posted to this thread earlier, (post #2) but I got to thinking about it.
My earlier post was concerts I went to on my own.
My actual first concert was the Association, playing on the underground stage that raised up to ground level, '67 or '68 at Disneyland with my folks.
My second was the Monkees, at the Arizona State Fair, 1970.

Rush, Moving Pictures Tour, Chicago 1981. Saw them a total of 23 times since that first concert.

I went to a lot of concerts when I was young. My father was a Marine and we spent 4 years in England, at a Air Force base between Oxford and London. Some of my favorites were Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore and Saxon. A lot of great memories.

Peter Paul & Mary at Symphony Hall in Boston -1965. First big date with my future wife. A lot of 'purple haze' there.

Best was a few years ago, my daughter got us awesome tix for the Stones when they were at Rentschler Field (Hartford). A lot of 'purple haze' there.

Probably my favorite album. Only saw them on television.

Our dog is named Geddy after Geddy Lee.

Now, for a good laugh. My first ever concert was New Kids on the Block. (There were girls involved).

Now, best concert I've ever been to is a tie between Bob Seger, or Kid Rock.

Love the nostalgia vibe going here. First for me was Bruce Springsteen - Born in the USA tour in 1985 - what an epic show! And a long list of many great shows and memories after that. Including Jimmy Ryser, who I see was posting on this thread ~5 years back (small world!)

Great white for light up Orlando was a good concert. Lot's of boobs 😂🤣😂🤣🤣

First ever concert I went to was Pantera. It was the last concert they were allowed to play in Orlando Florida 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

Metallica, Rush, Dave Mathews Band, Oz fest in west palm, Country Music festival in Tampa. Dolly Parton was the headliner with Alabama and other big country names.

Molly Hatchett, confederate railroad, Damn Yankees, Taylor Dane, and a few others I can't remember the names now.

I haven't been to a concert in years. The crowds and noise just don't appeal to me anymore 😉😉😉😉

Sounds like you were/are in the Florida area. Did you ever attend Buzz Bake Sales in WPB? I've got some great memories from those.

I lived in the Orlando area for 12 years.

Only been to west palm once and that was for OZ fest. Didn't see much of the area other than from the exit off the turnpike.

Summer of ‘69. Tanglewood, NY. BB King, Jefferson Airplane, and the Who. My first concert, but certainly not the best. One of the best I have seen was Greg Allman on his last tour. Never said a word to the crowd, but played and sang his heart out. Biggest concert regret - not seeing John Prine live.

Every girl I saw (thousands) were crying her eyes out and screaming "Paul".
