Since I will never put a mid deck mower on this and I don't like these connection points hanging down is there any good reason NOT to remove them??

I'd take any unnecessary brackets and such off of there. Box or bundle them up with a label or tag with the description and store them somewhere. You can give them to the next owner if you ever sell it.

I had a B7100 with the same problem - I double zip tied them up - worked perfectly. Used some real heavy gauge zip ties. It stayed up till I mounted the mower.......

Is there a hand adjustment to regulate how high or low a MMM deck would travel, if you had one installed ??

This adjustment capable of holding the MMM deck all the way up if you wanted to use the 3pt only ??

They wont hang down if you raise the 3 point hitch then turn the mower height adjustment knob to T for top! Now when you use the 3 point it will stay put.

Raise your hydraulics all the way up, rotate the MMM dial to "top" position. Those MMM bars should then stay all the way up and out or the way regardless of your 3-pt position. Issue solved.

No reason/need to remove them as the remedy has already been stated. And, it's in the owner's manual, too.

Owners manual??? They make those?? Seriously tho... appreciate the info and honestly... I never even considered the attachment would raise up because the only time I have ever seen it was when I’m off the thing. Maybe I should go ahead and look at that new fangled owners manual thing after all.
Thanks again to everyone for the info(y)

I have mine locked up on my 23s, a couple times now though I have spun the knob and lowered them down then back up. Just to keep things moving. It’s like a parking brake in an automatic transmission car, no one uses them then they rust solid.

In the winter when the mower's off and the snowblower's in use, I always lock the mower bracket in the top position by the method mentioned above.
