Greetings to all my fellow 'bota owners. Recently acquired a vintage, overused L-175. Had some issues at time of purchase but they have been corrected. Now, it's time to make it easier to use. The combination of small tires, 2wd and AgTech loader make it a real beast to steer. Have seen aftermarket power assist units for various vehicles/implements but has anyone ever added one to this particular beast? Thinking pwr assist on linkage will be less stressful on the miniscule steering box than a "conventional" setup. Thoughts, sources, advice will be deeply appreciated. GOD bless. Chris

25 or so years ago, I bought a rhino tractor, it was cheap, and I was young. I put a home-made system on it, used a mopar pump, early ford torino cylinder and valve, and welded and cobbled it all together. took upwards of 40 hrs of work...:D:D

Search the internet. Offroaders do this all the time. Search for 4x4 or 4wd Hydraulic assist steering.

Surplus Supply can get you most all you need.
