Does anybody here do business with Discount Hydraulics? I have been a long time customer and for the most part pleased. Starting in November of last year noticed taking longer to get my orders processed. I know they moved into a new facility. I placed an order 10 days ago and it has never been shipped. They don't respond to text messages , emails and don't answer the phone.
I buy from them on close to a weekly basis and historically (almost 20 years) delivery times have varied a lot. They have always had a check box to opt for ship complete or ship partial and backorder.
Things may have slowed down a bit but nothing substantial. They dont seem to be turning things around same day but if my items are in stock they usually ship in one to two days. If they are out of or short on something it can take a week or more which is nothing new.
Choice of shipping options have improved. Used to be just UPS and I got orders next day but it was a little pricey. They added USPS which is cheaper and seems to take a day longer but does add Saturday delivery for orders placed later in the week.
I am surprised they are not answering the phone. I have not called in a while but always got an answer when I did or if not a prompt call back. Phone staff was always very helpful about modifying orders if I forgot something or sending replacements when they occassionally shipped the wrong fittings - e.g 6401-08-06 instead of 6401-06-08....
