Who told you it is "discontinued"
Have you talked with Messick's parts dept?
Sometimes Messick's can/will suggest an alternate source for new or used parts.

That part has been discontinued for several years and was only used in the B2150's. You can try salvage yards, but your best bet is to take the failed fork to a good machine shop for repair.

wt is correct, any good shop can either repair or make a new one.
If the 'fingers' are just worn, easy to add material, grind to 'as new'.

you could try googling the part number, see if anyone has it as 'dead stock', though discoed for years... unlikey.

Most shifting forks wear on the flat surface where engagement takes place. Use a wire welder to build up that area and dress it smooth.

Yep…we are a “replacement“ society. Any good blacksmith could fix it. 😜

Have you yet had your dealer search inventory at other dealers?

It's a long shot but sometimes productive.

Not sure if this helps, but ive been having luck with "Gernambliss" over Messicks in finding older parts for my B8200. Being a discontinued part may effect your results though. Good luck
