Does anyone have experience plowing dirt with a 2650? I need to plant a fence line and was thinking I could just plow the entire length and the plant bushes I was going to use. Any idea how big a plow I can pull? I have r4 tires that are filled and a FEL. Thanks

No idea, but it would depend on how deep you go. For that use, consider a ripper or middle buster which would also be much cheaper. They are adjustable depth with your 3 point, so you could always make more than one pass.

Fwiw, the guy on youtube that has a L3901 and Christmas tree farm uses a ripper for his tree planting.

If you are considering a mold board plow, not very big.

How big will depend upon your ground but certainly nothing larger than 1X12. Probably smaller.

R4 tires are designed to slip and your tractor is not very heavy.

Maybe a PHD?

While a lot depends upon 'type of soil', but any single bottom plow should be easy for your tractor to pull.
I use a 9HP Sears garden tractor with a 3ph Brinly plow and it's happy all day long. I used it to carve out a 600' swayle 10-12 years ago.
If possible , drag a rear blade the length of the 'bush line', THEN run the plow down the center.

I know the BX will run a 10 inch plow so I doubt if a 12 incher would be a problem for the 50

my 2650 can pull a 16" single. struggles if too deep in clay or hard dirt. i have sandy soil and i can adjust it down to 5-5.5 before it starts pulling hard in low range. all the way down i'm only using partial speed on the hydraulic speed control. if i'm only down to number four on the depth gauge i can run mid speed in the mid range on speed selector. remember i'm in very sandy soil...
