Dipper

When I raise the dipper all the way up as it hits the top it falls down .any ideas?. Its hard to get it locked in.

I'm not sure what you mean by locking the dipper. Are you trying to lock the boom for travel or raise the bucket to it's highest point?

Ok so when you raise it by pulling back it goes up and while still pulling back it just falls until I let go of the controls

That does sound strange. In my case the maximum travel would be reached and the pressure relief valve would trip, but the dipper would stay in position and not fall, and after I centered the control it would remain in position.

Can not help with a solution, but it certainly appears what you are experiencing is not normal, if what I stated is indeed what is not happening.

Has anything been replaced - adjusted, new hoses? When did this start?

Nothing replaced but good question,I took it apart this morning looking for debris found nothing. Will reinstall in the morning and see.
