Differential lock

How comes the Diferential lock on my 2360 sometimes slips in and other times it just hangs up and the slips in after a time? I asked the dealer and he just gave me a funny look. Any Ideas????

When you press the dif lock lever you compress a spring against the diff lock sprag clutch. this clutch won't engage until the cogs line up which means it requires a small amount of differential action to slip into gear.

Another way to say it is to step on the lever when the wheels are slightly spinning. Then the lock lines up.

It is not recommended to try it with WOT.
