I'm looking to purchase a loader and do some fab work to adapt it to my B model. The salesman said he couldn't tell me the difference between the two. I found the LA 434 Operator's manual, but not the LA 435. Does anyone know what the differences are?

I believe the LA435 is the "new/improved" swift-tach loader. It just makes for easier on/off. However, I do think that it also uses the updated hydraulic (single point) connection.

This is correct based on the B2601 that we purchased in the fall of 2019. The tractor has the single point hydraulic block connection for the LA435 FEL, same as the single point hydraulic block connection on the current BX series tractors. The self-leveling arms are an option/add-on

I wondered if anyone knows the price difference between the LA434 loader and the LA435 with the quick attach configuration. The 435 on the Kubota build it now site lists for $3,122. The B2601 the dealer I am talking with wants to substitute an LA434 . I have read on here that the quick attach can be problematic so I did not have a problem with this. Seems an adjustment should be made in the price. Any thoughts? Thanks

A couple thoughts... you'll most likely get more replies starting a new thread instead of tagging onto this older thread. Secondly, Have you asked your dealer directly about a reduction? I would tell my dealer that I really want the LA435 unless there is a price break. Just because some people have problems with it doesn't guarantee that you would... Older FEL = lower resale price in my thoughts... {edit - I would only buy the LA435, I would not get the LA434 loader} Third, I'm sure your dealer has an old loader on his lot that he wants to get rid of and is looking for a "mark" to take it off his hands. Question is, are you that mark?

I started a new thread as you advised. Thanks.

Yer better off with the 434 IMO. My dealer said the 435s come back with leak problems and some came off when used hard. I got the last of the 434s he had and glad of it.
I think I got charged 2600 bucks for it in 2018.

Having owned a 435, I never used mechanical self leveling feature (add on). The "Swift tach" is just a bunch of junk to get in the way, get bent, or hit you in the head. I had the loader off once in 9 months, and compared to removing non-swift tach i owned before, it wasn't much different.

also, I believe the roll back angle of the 435 is limited to 25 degrees. I always felt like I had enough roll back angle but a little more would have been welcome. Another vote for the older style.

I did get the 434 and am pleased although sometimes challenged getting the thing back on. All told its a fine little tractor and loader combination.
