Hi all! This is my first post since joining OTT. I just had my new L2501 delivered this morning. With all the delays and frustration these days I thought I would share a positive purchase experience. I called my local dealer a little more than a week ago. I already knew what I wanted: L2501 w/QA loader, 60" rotary cutter, box blade, and a third function with a grapple. To my surprise, they had everything I asked for. Nine days later and it has been delivered! I am excited and ready to get busy!

Thanks for all I have learned over the last few months reading the content on this site.

Looks good! But I would do something about that 3rd function hose flopping everywhere.

You will love it. Spent a bunch of time on mine today working on drainage for the pasture. The 2501 is a worker for sure. Enjoy!

I appreciate that. I will secure that.
Welcome to OTT!! That's one sweet new "ride" you've got parked in your shop! And if you'd like a setup like Matt mentioned.....I think I still have a few of those dual hose clamps left in a bag somewhere. For some "postage" I'd be happy to get one/some in the mail to you. They're made from some HDPE with a 1/4 inch hole for mounting. Also pinned together so they can't twist apart. If you'd like......start a conversation by selecting my "bird dogger" and "start conversation".
Regards,
David

If you ask @bird dogger real nice, he might send you one of his clamps he made, for a fee. If he has anymore, of course. View attachment 69139
Had to pickup some shorter bolts from this picture.
Matt, those stand off brackets look like they were purposely put there for those clamps! Did you ever figure out what the official intended use was?

I did, your clamps!

But really, no. I’m betting for 3rd function hardline mounting of some sort.

Congratulations on your new outfit Smalltownguy, the L2501 is a nice tractor. A few items I added to mine didn't cost much but I felt were worthwhile are bucket level indicator rod, the missing right side grab handle, and the additional (outer I believe) air filter that is standard on L3301 and 3901.

Kubota OEM 3rd function kit has steel lines that clamp nicely on those standoffs...just like they were made for it.

Thanks, everyone, for your encouragement and suggestions. I spent some time yesterday hooking up each implement, getting familiar with the controls, and playing on the tractor. It is simply amazing... especially the grapple!
