Had bought a 5/8" Titan hard edge for my 5ft bucket on my B2650
Heck the weight of that thing alone will decrease my lifting capacity besides I'm finding I'm not able to cut and dig being used to using a 75HP Deutz-Allis.

So I'll just put the Titan on my Deutz and I just ordered the BXpanded Piranha which from what others are saying I'll be much happier.

I'll report back!

Be patience. Ordered mine 3 weeks ago still no email yet on ship date.

Girl did say they are working limited hours or something of the sort. So might be a longer wait.

They sure did charge my credit card day 1 when I ordered a couple weeks ago. Hashtag patiently waiting

It took over a month to get mine a year ago. Very satisfied; but the wait was somewhat agonizing. They do seem very prompt on charging your card! If you want to inquire about your order, you need to call them. They did not respond to my emails.

Yeah my card was immediately charged!

Great, I need to use it very soon. If I have to wait a month will create a big problem....

Think I will give them a call.

Yeah, they charged my card immediately last year when I ordered mine. I cannot remember how long it took to receive the bar, but it was a bit of a wait. It might have been a month.

I learned my lesson as I believe many people order their items like when they need to use them, which is typically warmer months.

So, rather than waiting for warmer weather, I ordered my BXpanded backhoe quick attach and implements last winter. I received them within the week.

It may be apples and oranges, as I know the Piranha tooth bar is a popular item.

I think the tooth bar is made when ordered, which means production lead times. On the shelf stock is what I was hoping for, since the measurement was "I have a BX". Alas, it was not to be.

I wish I could order something and only take a month!

On March 12th, I ordered a new PJ 20’ 10K# flatbed to haul my B2650. Initial report was a 4-week lead time. It’s 9 weeks since I ordered it right now. I’m told it’s done and shipping out. Hope to have it before the 10 week mark... This is due to Covid related production delay.

Ordered Bucher valve parts to assemble my rear remotes last week, and they’re out of the work section with float option. Hoping to get it by late June... Notnsure why the long delay. Trausch Dynamics is waiting on part from their supplier.

Ordered a top link cylinder on January 24th. 20 week lead time. Last time I checked, that was still accurate. Should arrive mid-June... This lead time estimate was clearly listed on website when I was shopping and also explained when I ordered on the phone. One fella can only build cylinders so fast, and he’s got quite the backlog.

I suppose the good thing about getting older is that my patience is much better than when I was young. I’d much rather wait for what I really want than get in a rush and buy my second choice. I got the time...

love mine.

its been super handy in ways i didnt even think about.

just remember: its a tooth bar.... it doesnt turn your tractor into a front bucket backhoe!~

you can make a hole with it, you can make a mess with it...

but its a toothbar for brush, briars, weeds & so on... its NOT a backhoe~!

usually the only real complaints you see is that people try to dig with them & there is just not enough hydro power up front to use something that wide as a backhoe!

oh the OTHER big complaint: these will do a number on your shin if you run into them. it will happen to you. it does everybody else... me included.

Well I got a big surprise after ordering. A bigger bill

I payed through PayPal and the amount indicated that would be charged to my visa before hitting the pay button didn't included the shipping which I presumed it did and should.

I ordered 3 days before you and still waiting. I know I wouldn't need my til mid late May. So I thought I allowed enough time..guess I might have to start a different project til then.

Problem I have is they told me when I called and ordered that I'd get a shipping email in about 12 days when its ready to ship. If you know you're back logged making them maybe tell people when they order stuff it could take up xx days or weeks.
It will be one month Thursday

I am a slight bit disappointed with this company and their practices.

I read a bunch of the reviews before I bought mine. Notice their reviews are 200+ and all but 2 of them are 5 star reviews. This is because they manipulate reviews. They remove reviews that are not 5 stars. I submitted my review to be a 4 star review, and I cannot find it anywhere on the site under the tooth bar, and when I try to submit the review again, it says that only 1 review can be submitted per product. So they have the "cookies" from the interaction with my computer on their website, they have my review, and they are suppressing it to keep their high rating.

The issue that I have is the material construction. No doubt this is a great product, but it does not live up to the reviews that say things like "i've had this bar for x years, and it's still sharp". I've had my bar for a few months, dug for a few hours, and the teeth are mashed and some dented pretty good. For the price the bar is nice. I would prefer another option to have hardened tooth edge or somthing that will hold up better than what they offer.

I think the bar is too well designed to give a 3 star review, but it does NOT live up to a 5 star review because the teeth dull in a matter of hours, and some get mashed up and gnarled. I am not happy that they do not allow sorting of reviews by high to low, or new to old either. I think this is deceptive of them to be not publishing reviews that are less than 5 stars.

Think about it, 200+ reviews, and only 2 that I could find are less than 5 stars.

Flame suit on.

On a more positive note, it didn't take me 10 days to get mine, I think, and it is absolutely EXCELLENT at popping roots from shrubs and trees up. It is better than my grapple at that, which is surprising. Just run the corner of the blade up to the roots, put it down 2 or 3 inches under the root, and pop it right up.

When I got mine it was a few inches to long. So I had to cut it down and reweld the attach tab back onto the bar.
Again tried to upload a photo. Says upload fail.
If the moderators read this any idea why ?

ok gotta back up a bit here...

you got a bar from BX expanded & its dented & bent?

like many others here ive got 2 of these from them & they have been top notch quality & workmanship. ive cleared MILES of trails from my heavily wooded & briared property & never needed to sharpen or do anything to them. even after several years of use in rocks, roots, dirt.... they will still tear a lifting strap into in a heartbeat.

companies change over time & some go downhill or start taking shortcuts. thats really gonna suck if thats the case with them.

but gotta ask
: when you buy a 1/2" thick piece of steel & attach it to a #7/10 gauge bucket on a tractor= how does the 1/2" steel give before the cheap, flimsy bucket that comes on these tractors?

show us some pix of the damage, cause if they have gone this far south? it needs to be out there.

I tried calling and they diverted there inquiries to email only.

I'm already pissed that in "check out" it didn't include the $51 shipping charge.
It said it was charging my visa a total of $289 when I clicked the pay now button.

So I get the surprise once the order was placed with the invoice saying I was charged $340.

Good morning to all,

I'm a new member and new owner of the Kubota clan! I purchased a 2019 BX2380 with the FEL last fall and have used it for pushing snow and now a multitude of jobs around our property. I too researched a tooth bar this spring and decided it would be an advantage to have one with the limited ability of a smaller tractor.

I did a fair amount of research and surprisingly came across another option which may be of interest to those that were in the same boat. I ordered a version of the piranha tooth bar from a Canadian company in Quebec called Tractor Attachments.

Its a serrated tooth bar made of very heavy steel and it attaches the very same way the piranha attaches. I'm fairly certain it will perform similar to the piranha bar. The fit is excellent on my bucket, it was no effort to attach it, took all of 15 minutes with a step drill bit and I was up and running.

Even with the Covid 19 happening, from the time I ordered, it was 9 days to my door, which In my opinion was reasonable. The price was quite reasonable in my opinion as well. $269 plus shipping.

Like everyone has boasted, the tooth bar does dramatically change the capability of these small tractors! Sorry, I tried attaching the pic and kept getting an error, there is a photo on their website.
