yeah....'whole goods' vs 'parts' though it make no cents to me......
For a BX23S
rear tire only $500, tire ON rim, with valve stem and air.... $340
front tire only , $340... with rim, valve stem, air... $170
I'm on my 3rd set for fronts due to driving on road to get to neighbours...
Wife says to get RID of the old tires and rims but yeesh, they still hold air and go round and round......
might make some trailers or wagons with them though.....

I went to the dealer (California) yesterday to look at new tractors. I’m considering an L2502 or L3302 with HST, loader, quick attach bucket, forks, and top & tilt kit. He wrote up a quote for all the various components. Getting home I look on the website “build my Kubota” page and find the dealer quoting roughly 20% more than the website MSRP for the same components. Are these things in high demand, or something else?
I bought my L3901 in very early 2021 when inventory was extremely scarce.

First dealer who I know simply wont deal gave me a quote that was a bit over MSRP.

I went to the other side of town and watched as the salesman configured my machine using the Kubota website. He printed out that MSRP quote and right in front of me deducted their discount (8.5% IIRC), added in tax, and handed me the quote with the adjusted numbers penciled in. Unfortunately he did not have a machine in stock and could not.quote a delivery date.

I went home, called Messicks, and gave one of thecsakesmem my configuration. Within the hour he emailed me a quote that was a tiny bit lower than dealer number 2. He said he had one tractor on the lot ready to go and one still in the crate.

I drove the hour up to Messicks and test drove the machine he had on the lot. It had R1s and I wanted R4s. They offered to swap the tires but instead I opted to buy the one in the crate and wait another week for delivery. Turns out the salesman lived near me and personally dropped it off at my house a week later along with two hats and an additional bucket of SUDT2.

Moral of this story - every dealer is different.
