I drove by the Kubota Dealers in DelValle (Austin), Bryan/College-Station, and Hempstead/Cypress Texas areas this last Saturday and there isn’t a vacant place to park another tractor Anywhere. The lots are FULL of new orange tractors.

Same in W Tn and N Ms. W Tn had more used than usual, most didn't have loaders. I don't know if they were consignment or dealer owned.

MY NH DEALER seems loaded with BXs and Bs but I didn’t look at everything. What is noticeably absent are the RTV/UTVs…none to be seen.

As interest rates keep going up, and inflation continues to rear it's ugly head, Kubota tractor purchasing will likely soon become a buyers market.
Kubota size tractors are usually a discretionary purchase.

The upshot I take from looking at the full lot my area dealer has is that I sold my old Kubota at the peak back in '21 and bought the new one before prices went nuts....

Sure we have tractors out here in the sticks. They've been sitting around because there are no loaders, hence they'll continue to sit. Started seeing all sorts of stuff for the rear end, but still no loaders.

Honestly I think it has slowly been (I can’t even even type this without both giggling and being triggered) building back better. I am sorry I can’t help myself. Anyway there has been stuff around but maybe not the specific model people want…and prices have gone up…that should help fill the pipeline in itself. That being said if you look at the promotions/incentives on Kubota site, seems like they are getting ready for people to get their tax returns back. That makes sense if plenty of product on the lots…just IMO. Not sure the price is better than two years ago, but if you have been waiting lots are filling up. Looks like lots of incentives across a variety of products….not sure there has been any reduction of prices though. Spring is getting close, time to ante up or fold. 🥃

I thought that I had heard that a new factory was being built just to make loaders?

The dealer that tried to shaft me on my 4701 still has 9 of the 10 4701's that arrived back in November. The local dealer is over flowing compared to normal inventory counts. That one has 4 4701's. The problem is that people who really think long and hard about a tractor purchase are realizing that with the huge price increases that went on in 2022 if they are patient they can save close to $20k. All they have to do is be patient and wait. I located a 2021 MX5400 with a BH92 with 100hrs. for $37,500. The 4701 that I originally ordered went from $46k up to $54K although that did include a 3rd function and Hyd thumb! That is a lot more tractor for a lot less money!! Not to mention I don't have to give Kubota a dime of my money:)

Things that go up (too far)........ usually do go down.
