Around here you better make sure the mice didn't leave the freezer door a jar when they got the ice cream out to put on the pecan pie. I sure could use a piece my self right now.

Its "Mother's pecan pie" which she made with Karo light corn syrup and she followed the recipe on the back of the bottle.

At one time the bottle had two different recipes on it - Southern (*Pee Can??") and Regular ("Puh Kahn??").

The bottles now have just one recipe which I believe is the "regular" version snd the one I used.

Mother sometimes switched things up and used the dark corn syrup and whatever recipe was on rhe back of that bottle.

Which ever one you choose make sure you do not have an A1C blood test scheduled for at least 30 days
