I don't get frustrated at people not being able to do what they used to do, but I DO get frustrated at people not being able to do what I KNOW that they CAN do. Particularly, my son.
You are NOT stuck in your SHIRT! You do NOT need help getting out of it. I know stalling at bedtime when I see it!
He's almost 9 by the way.

Yup, I am 82 and counting so I very well know of what I speak. I have a portable sawmilling business and daily handle lumber and slabs. This activity stretches my knuckles and I can no longer make a fist.

The customer provides help which is difficult and sometimes impossible to find so I find myself overextending myself:

The customer and I sawed these in 14 hours last week with no additional help.

Only three more to go and finished. Yes, this old man works.

I'll be 75 in a couple months. You have NO idea how true that is. Big problem is arthritis in my hands. No grip strength at all.
A few years older than you...still have plenty of grip strength. But I've developed what the Doc calls "trigger finger"...sometimes when I bend my fingers too far they stay there, locked in place until I reach over with my other hand and straighten them back out again.
