I'm aware. I was more referring to the hypothetical woman to which he was being compared.
But yes, very easy mistake to make.

I gotta say, though, it's pretty funny that a lot of these "manly men" of the 80s (hair bands in particular) appear more woman-like (feminine? IDK) than a lot of the... we'll say MTF women of today.
