Chuckle comment: That would be good evidence schools need to teach sex education as her parents have failed- obviously!

Factoid about the political comment above: BTW the Federal Education Department spends proportionally little money as education is the responsibility of the States in the USA NOT the Feds. They do support special education to a percent and a few other programs in part, like HHS lunch programs but States and mostly local governments or county governments support schools and by and large, control them too.

My brother sent this to me from Northern California. It’s not a joke, it’s for real.
I didn’t know where else to post it.

Don't a lot of people hate turkey but do it anyway?

I love it - bones and whatever. The wife hates it other than dark meat. I'll eat everything. We did turkey chilli last night. It got the rumblings going before sun up. Healthy food. AND IT WAS GOOD.

Greed! Nothing but greed. I bought a 14 pound turkey a few weeks ago for $22.00 CAD. It was after Thanksgiving up here so could have been more before but still $229.00 for a bird is insane.

Damn….. $7.49/# for turkey. My kid lives in CA. Amazing how much stuff costs there.

I paid $0.88/# for our bird.

Just bought a nice beef tenderloin for $15.99/#. Can’t imagine similar thing in CA.

I'll bet my BX23s that nobody can tell the difference between the $7.50 a pound bird and a 99cent one ,once you toss on the homemade gravy, cranberries and a smidgen of homemade stuffing !
