When I was driving my classic Mini Cooper "regularly", I had to convert from the KPH speedometer to MPH in my head as I was driving since it was a Japanese market model. These days, it is just sitting in the garage.

I had a Buick Regal GSE that had the supercharged 3.8 liter engine and when ever I called/went in for parts from any parts store and they asked what engine size. They were usually confused when I told them one gallon, just one older guy didn't bat an eye and asked if if was a super-gallon with a smile on his face.
