A friend recently paid $5,000 for a 40' hi-cube... "one trip", (very nice) container,....75 miles, delivered.

I looked into getting one for some additional storage when I turned my tool shed into a heated shop. I quickly discovered that I could stick-build another building cheaper than getting a container delivered. Better looking too.

The 'one time' seacans could easily SOLVE the alleged 'housing crisis' here in Canada....

What I'd like to know is WHY the CDC is sending 13 ( thirteen) seacans to Sri Lanka ? Yeah, if you dig deep enough you can get the manifest of the ship....

I would imagine that price is reflective of location.

I follow this gal on YT, she is very smart and covets various subjects.
In the video she covers the structural design and flaws by altering the container.

I don't know why she is 'smart' as normal, common 'building practices'(aka 'code' ) eliminate 6 of her 7 reasons it's a scam. Even the 7th, 'location' isn't that valid.
seacan 'offices' are used in the far north,south ,the equator and everywhere inbetween.

Her argument about the structure, can be applied to EVERY house made of stone or wood. Of course you have to reframe for an opening....everyone knows and does that.

Love the skyscraper concept... reminds me of the '67 Olympics housing units......hmm, what's ancient is new again !!!
