Hi, Rebuilt a D722 engine and in the videos I've watched and the manuals say there should be 3 o-rings in the gear case but mine was flush and not recessed for o-rings so I left them out but now I have an oil leak in that area. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Well the picture you posted is an aftermarket cover and they are know for not doing things correctly.

If you have a stock cover that is flat then you used the wrong gasket, as there are several.

Definitely a stock old cover that is flat. I’ll have to call Kubota today and order the correct gasket then because I only used the one that came with the rebuild kit.

Do you know where did the D722 originally come from?
In other words what was it's original use?

Ag engines are different than Industrial engines?
