You can't make a D1105-DG governor into a variable RPM governor.
You will need the governor and linkage out of an D1105-M engine to get a variable governor.

i have trouble getting parts because they Kubota dealer keeps goinging to the d1105bg
any chance you have part numbers and diagrams

Give me some more info and I should be able to help.
Serial number of the engine.
Is it turbo or non?

B2400 and a B2410 and an RTV1100 and many others used that series of engine.
First try @Mountainman and see if he has both the governor and linkage.
