My old 6' cutter gave up da ghost Saturday, or should I say da input bearing as seen in the above picture. Yup, flopping big time, soooo..... we hopped on FB Marketplace last night and found a possible replacement.

I made phone calls this morning and a deal was struck on this SE6 Rhino.

It's gonna need some tweaking and probably a set of blades. If this monsoon passes tomorrow maybe we can unload it and see what I have.

The 8' 3008 Bush Hog does the heavy work and the 6' takes care of the minor duties.

Looks like a pretty solid piece.. a little tweaking on the one angle brace. Maybe after straightening it you could bolt on a horizontal cross brace.

Is there going to be a funeral service for the old unit? Where should we send the weed to express our grief? He was a stout old guy that lived a good life cutting things down to their proper size. Sure will be missed, and I doubt that the new guy is ever going to replace him because he was a cut above all the rest for most of his life. May he rust away in piece. Brings a tear to my eye just thinking about your faithful old friend.

You forgot to mention that he was a long-standing member of the Rotary club. :ROFLMAO:
