Cute fox video from yesterday

The foxes return every year to this den about 50m from our house. I use the dry water course its located in to dump small brush / branches but away from the den. Make a good habitat for other animals.
This pair should be having their litter of kits soon. After the kits are grown some they mostly disappear as a family.

Back in the day when I was a young man, the woods were my world. I would spend days tracking and trapping, and now a lot of years later. I would rather watch them, than trap them

It was right after this that a coyote tried to get into the den at night. A few hours later momma fox carried each kit in her mouth to another den. Never saw the family after that.

Oh wow! Thanks for that. Hopefully all the kits survived. I wasn't expecting such grey coats ... so adorable.
