Hello all, just wasn't impressed with Kubota's idea of a tool box on my new B2601
. I guess if they had off put a nice one on it could have been a deal breaker
So I made my own, attached it to the steel cross member (changed to heavier angle iron) that holds the slow moving vehicle sign. It is 24" x 7"x11" made a wooden box then covered with 1/8" aluminum checker plate, we have a trailer shop close by that sells cut offs. You'll notice I moved the flashing lights up to the joint on the ROP, then made two brackets on each end of tool box that attach to the bottom and the holes where the lights where. Nice and solid.
