For anyone that has recently acquired a fiberglass canopy from a Kubota dealer, can you determine the actual manufacturer of the canopy? My local dealer can’t show me a picture of what the current canopy looks like.

For what it's worth, I have a canopy I bought with my L4310 25 years ago; however, I never use it. I could not get use to the significant increase in noise from the engine. It simply bounces off the underside of the canopy right into your ears. The foam liner is useless. I don't care for ear protection when operating my tractors as I like to hear what is going on in the event of a problem with the tractor or implement. Without a canopy, it's not that loud. A canopy will solve one problem, but it creates another. Maybe the problem has been corrected to some degree on newer ones. Just my two cents worth.

The salesman at the dealer couldn’t or wouldn’t give me a firm price. He told me the canopy would be about $520 and the mounting package about $240 plus shipping for all of the items. So I’m looking at just under $1000 for a canopy that I will install and don’t even know what it’s going to look like. I know the price of canopies has been beat to death but I just can’t make myself spend that much for something that will be scratched and maybe broken by tree limbs.

At that price point (+/- a a few bucks) there are several quick removal options. Rhino makes a plastic one and artisan makes an aluminum one. At that price I think being able to easily take on / off might be helpful. I would buy artillian all over again.

I have a steel canopy that came with a noise reducing carpet material on the underside of the canopy. I don’t notice that it projects loud engine noise.
