Sounds like you discovered the problem is "no fuel". I wouldn't replace the glow plugs just to replace them. Measure the resistance of each plug (I don't recall the spec - something like 0.9 to 1.2 ohms) but test them to see the variation between plugs, and if they are all about the same reading they are most likely good.
