I'm one of those folks that would probably wait for a bit on the vaccine. And then only reason is till they get the bugs worked out of it and get a chance to see what the unforeseen side effects are.

Same here DT, sometimes the cure can do you more harm then the decease but at times like this we have to do our best to stay positive. Already here in Canada some of the crazies are showing up. Lot's of shootings in the bigger cities, kinda makes you wonder how many people were on the edge before all this started, not good.

Normally, I have you on ignore because I find your comments to be less than intelligent but in this instance I will comment...

Because I hold a valid concealed carry permit, I full well know the rules of engagement and practice them every day. I carry a firearm because one, I can and two just in case I need to protect myself from physical harm but having said that, I also understand restraint. What I think in my mind and what I do are 2 entirely different things.

Far as going out, I'm always wearing a mask, practice social distancing, wear latex gloves when pumping fuel and everything else I can physically do to protect myself against Covid. I stay home as much as I can but there are instances when I need to go and buy supplies.

Knowing your demeanor (as you expound on here constantly), I''m pretty confident you don't do squat. All well and good. Hope you don't contract it but if you do, hope you survive it.

Have a nice day and you, along with a few others, stay on ignore until you (and the others) can comment in an intelligent and not a demeaning manner.

On the side, I find you to be irresponsible and a poor speller, it's shouldn't btw.

Please everyone, distinguish between disagreeing with an idea and attacking the person espousing it. It is not necessary to express your disapproval of someone else's posts or their behavior.

I've said all I'm going to say to him. I'm the Captain of my own ship and I sail it as I see fit. Why I have him and a couple others on ignore. Don't have to read that bs.

I will say that of all the forums I frequent (5), this one has the only Covid 19 thread that actually discusses it rationally (with the exception of a couple clowns that I don't read what they post anyway).

Certainly is a volatile subject. Having said that adults don't need to be combative, sadly they are and Internet forums are an excellent avenue for them to be 'keyboard rambo's'....

It's so blatantly clear the Left in this country want this Virus to ruin this countries economy. So, with the CDC; WHO; AMA and others the data has shown a rapid increase in CV19 infections.
Then we have this:

"Florida health officials left COVID-19 trackers slackjawed on Sunday when it reported more than 15k new infections in just 24 hours on Sunday (the data were gleaned from the prior day). But as hospitalizations surge, questions have grown about whether the state is still trying to 'juke' its data, something that a now infamous whistleblower alleged before she was fired (she has since started her own COVID-19 data portal relying on public info).

Journalists scouring the reams of daily data for discrepancies have apparently happened upon bombshell they had been hoping for: Orlando Health has just confirmed that some of the data it shared over the weekend were wrong, after journalists reported more than 50 labs showing 100% positivity rate, or roughly around there. One local Fox affiliate looked into the numbers and contacted a few of the labs to confirm that their internal data matched the public data released by the state."
Only a snippet of the article but most 5th graders would be able to smell a rat in the statistical data.

For me, it distills down to what I (we) do on a personal basis and I don't ascribe to the mainstream media for much of anything because, left or right, it's basically all tainted.

We (wife and I) use what we believe will mitigate the chance of contracting it, and so far we have avoided it. Fingers crossed on that score.

BS sheepfarmer. A few people have been vocal about a differing opinion as it relates to these mask and covid matters and the rest are bound determined to shut me and the others up.

Weve been asked to leave by members including yourself,

weve been wished death, sickness and financial ruin by other members.
Weve been wished sickness on our families by other members.
We have been attacked for "name calling" all the while being called names.

I think myself and the others here have been pretty nice considering the NASTY treatment from the few fellow board members here.

Oh and then there is flip who is has doubled down on his want to intimidate people with guns because they may be too close to him in a public place and he has a short fuse. Where is the outrage about that Sheepfarmer?

Sparky I heard that report, and when the investigative reporter went to the labs they were unaware all the results were positive. Turns out the lab did not report all test positive, and the discrepancy was laying somewhere between the lab reports and the state printed data. Just an example, and proof of manipulating data.

The 'crazies' had a Covid party north of here a bit over the 4th and 40 of them caught it and 12 are in the hospital. I just don't get that at all. Who in their right mind want to get it? Inquiring minds want to know.

Of course who knows how many those 40 infected as well. Probably their unsuspecting parents and siblings.

I read somewhere (of course reading something in the media today, I heavily discount), but I read that 'herd immunity is a pipe dream and those with supposed herd immunity are actually getting it, again. It's like the Asian flu. You might beat it one year and it beats you the next.

I'm also in agreement on any vaccine. I want to see what the side effects are before I submit to an injection. I realize 'clinical trials' involve human subjects bit I will still adopt a 'wait and see' attitude.

Interestingly, every time I get a flu shot, I get the flu.

Ive never gotten a flu shot, ever and have never had the flu. I get a mild cold every couple years thats it.
I must have a strong immune system. I think ill wait for the vaccine also unless it turns into a REAL pandemic.
