counter balance 3 pt weight for B3000

Does anyone have pictures or innovative ideas for a counter balance weight system using the 3 pt for their tractor?

I'm a little confused. Are you trying to counter-balance the FEL by putting a counterweight on the 3pt? Or are you trying to counter-balance the 3pt by putting weights on the front of the tractor? If you are trying to counter-balance the FEL, there was a thread about a year ago that folks posted all kinds of home-made counterweights that mounted on the 3pt, including me showing my concrete filled 55 gallon barrel. You should be able to do a search and find it easily. If not, let us know. Hope this helps.

Check out my post 5 or 6 pages back. It works great. Scrounging the weights will keep the cost down. The individual 40 pound weights are easier to handle than a 50 gallon drum filled with concrete. http://omni-mfg.com/Default.aspx is were you can purchase the combo hitch. Watch the tougue weight of trailers you are moving if you leave the weights on all the time.
