Here is something that you might be able to do with the camera setup.
If it's programed like my Reolink's, it can send you a message when there is activity.
So if someone drives / walks in, it will see it, and start recording, and notify you.
Really nice feature, also there is mapping so it will limit what it see's and what it triggers on.

As far as picture quality of Reolink cameras, well I can read a license plate at 1/8 of a mile.
I can read the numbers on the small tab on a license plate when within
Night vision is incredible, we are far enough from town when it dark out it's really dark, and you can see everything, it's actually creepy when it's foggy, as you can see the fog!
It also records sound, was real interesting when a couple pulled up to my garage and started yelling for someone to come out that didn't live here!

My ReoLink is wifi and set up using their solar panel for charging. We have had a pretty dull winter with considerable cold stretches And seems very little direct sunlight. Sometimes-20c at night for a few weeks. Ours is set up to record wildlife with the sensitivity at high and recording a lot….sometimes just squirrels….lol. Under heavy use both recording, and watching recorded content, we did run the battery down low twice thru the winter, where I needed to take it inside and charge it using the supplied USB cable. I would give the battery and solar panel 5 stars and a huge thumbs up for quality . I am happy and Considering buying another one. 👍

I wanted to thank everyone for the thoughtful comments and suggestions ! Helped me make up my mind that this camera is the way I am going to go. It might take a month or two before I have it set up and running but will check back with results.

Thanks again! :)

Looks great! I am addicted to my standard trail cams I have set up around the property. 5 to 6 depending on how healthy they stay. I do not go to the bars drinking or the casinos but game cams are my addiction. lol Really looking forward to the day I can log in here at home, and see a live view of the tractor shed and pond.

I have a Reolink Track Mix LTE, using a Mint Mobile SIM card and need some advice. The live view is great and it occasionally picks up/ records large vehicles but not passenger size. Any suggestions on settings or cell booster?

I have the Trackmix Wifi you can adjust the motion sensitivity through the setup menu

If you are getting images without vehicles they may be travelling too fast. I also tend to get a lot of false positives at night with the camera getting triggered by parked vehicles. I hope you have an unlimited data plan on your mobile line.
