And no one even mentioned a wheel gun ????
A few yrs ago a police officer getting ready for work was getting dressed at home...puts on his gun belt. Shoots himself in the thigh. His wife got home hours later and found him.
After that I went to carrying a revolver.
I do have plenty of pistols. Don't get me wrong. If the gun goes off I want to be pulling the trigger. Am I paranoid? Or cautious? Cautious I hope.
Here's your carry gun. Plenty of wallop to stop a rabid fox or fentinal user.
Your welcome.
Post #7. I've carried a Ruger KLCR (and sometimes two of them) for more than 10 years.

I ordered a CrossBreed holster and magazine carrier a couple of weeks ago that showed up today. I'm looking forward to putting the Hellcat Pro into rotation to see if I like carrying it.

Sorry. I missed that. The Ruger lite weight revolver, yes.
A customer that summers in Alaska running a campground and winters in maine was talking handguns one day.
He was a Springfield guy. He owned and carried many Springfields and shot alot. The warranty he said was priceless even though he'd never used it. Of course in Alaska he carried the 10mm in the chest holster at the campground.

I like my G26 and my G43. Both are easy to carry and shot.

I carry a Sig p365 most of the time. Sometimes in the winter I'll carry a P229 or a p220. In the summer, with gym shorts, I carry the P238 I bought for my wife, in a thunderwear  holster.

So after all this Tom which one have you decided on? And I may have missed it but ,MHO, would be find an indoor range that rents firearms to use at the range. And see if they have ones you might be interested in, and explain that you want to try them to see which one you like best. Might save you a bunch of bucks.

Well nothing yet, still carrying the Ruger LCP9s daily and the Ruger American Compact 45 in the Winter. I like them both and they shoot very nice and carry EZ too.
I'm still batting it around and talking with my gun owning friends and will be hitting the back yard with them to try a couple of the Sig's out. No Indoor ranges up here we just go out back and shoot none of the fancy city stuff here.

Taurus G2C in the winter.

Been really wanting to try a Sig out.

Here in communist state of CT with 1 in the pipe 10 in the mag i decided on the p938 about 8 years ago. Its been a great piece. My shield was pretty badly rusted after 2 years( smith took care of it NP) Nothing but problems with kimber anything. If a kimber was givin too me i would just sell it…I love all my fullsize 1911s but just to big for EDC. I just bought a p365 sas waiting on new holster and time to run it for 1000-1500 rounds. But may just keep the P938. Hides well riding a motorcycle.
CT now is concealed only which is only way i carry but sucks no choice.

Not EDC but interesting. Never had a .40 before but a bud gave it to me for helping him with some electrical work. Told him up front I didn't expect anything in return. He said he knows I like pistols and he hasn't shot it much. Came with RCBS dies and some ammo.

We’ve got the NYS SAFE Act - I think magazine capacity is 7, although older 10’s allowed but only put 7 in it….

One reason I went with the single stack 45. Thinner and met the regs.

We can have a 9 round clip and one in the pipe in NY.

I like my Glock 43. Considering buying a buddy's Ruger LC9, too.
Same here. It fits and shoots better for me than a G17. If you go that route get the 43X—same pistol, longer grip and 10+1 capacity.

I carry a Glock 19 in a Glock 17 concealed holster. The larger holster makes for more comfortable carry.
