No, it's not what I just fell off of 😉
Over the past few months, I've noticed these guys everywhere. I do not recall it last summer. Selling coconut meat, pineapple, and they'll stick a straw in one for you to drink the juice too. They are almost as common as firework stands in June.
Any other areas seeing this trend? Here, they apparently get stuff off the boat in Baltimore, which loaded it in Florida.

Never seen a coconut truck, but this time of year we start seeing, peaches, apples, watermelon, cantaloupe, corn and all the other vegies being sold out of truck stands parked along side the road. Yet, I can say I have never seen a coconut or pineapple truck/stand in my area yet neither are grown around here.

No coconut or pineapple trucks yet, but lots of shrimp & lobster trucks. (Fresh from Rocky Point!!!!)
An occasional beef truck.
None refrigerated, which makes me want to buy non-inspected food curbside in Arizona heat. :ROFLMAO:

Used to see a lot of vans in parking lots selling speakers, or car radios, or x-boxes.

I can honestly say....I have never seen a coconut truck in my life.

Then again, not a lot of those types of trees in NB, Canada. o_O

Other than Reddit, this is the only media I could find that mentions it.
They are expensive as hell too. $12 a nut! Wegmans has em for less than half that. I said the last time I paid $12 for a coconut, it had rum in it and a paper umbrella on top, I stopped by one because they had pineapple too. Also expensive. I kinda felt bad, but the price was so far off base I couldn't even do it to help the guy out.

From the thread title I was expecting / hoping for something more closely aligned to ‘the chive’ or maybe Hawaiian tropics competition. But this is interesting too. (I’ve not seen coconut trucks in Ohio…when I do I hope it’s what I was imaging / expecting…yes I have issues and they are well documented 😉) 🥃

Definitely no Coconut trucks in my neck of the woods/sticks.

Hell, half of our population may not know what a coconut is.

Doesn’t come in a box with microwave instructions…..😳
