I am looking to make my own dethacher similar to the CMP model. Does anyone have one they can provide the dimensions between the tine mounting holes and the first hole from the edge of the mounting bar?

I don't know what you are trying to dethatch, but I bought a used 40 inch JD dethatcher, for 100 dollars. This dethatchers and most new JD dethatchers have the ability to add 8 inches to each side. I added just 8 inches to one side, giving me a full 48 inches. If you were to add 8 to the other side you would have a full 56 inch dethatcher. The add on kit has everything needed, including nuts, additional spring tongs. They sell them on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace all the time. A 56 inch would do a lot of dethatching and not cost an arm and leg.
This might not be what you want but I bet someone on here would like it.

About 5 acres of lawn and pasture. I am looking for a 3 point so decided to copy the CMP one. Have the materials and think I have worked out the spacing for a 54" wide unit.
