You won't be able to buy it, you'll need to make them if you want that to help you split the tractor.

Kubota might offer some splitting stands as a special tool. I'll have to look at my old literature to see if there is a price and/or if they're available or not. They were simple in design. Just a couple square plates, 2 of which were the tops, about 14" square, then the bottom plates, which were a little wider, with wheels. In between the top and bottom were 4 legs made of tubing, each leg had a sliding setup where a large od tube fit over a smaller one, so that the top platform would be able to raise or lower with a hydraulic bottle jack. Slick setup and I should probably make a set. Problem is, I might have a Kubota in the shop one day, the next day a Ford, the next day a MF....and DIY stands/dollies may not fit all of them, and that would upset me to spend a bunch of time on dollies and them not work.

They quoted how much??

I needed a new clutch in my L3130. I went and pulled the invoice, it was $1885 and they also did the front end seals.

Quote is way to high! Mid to high teens sounds about right for parts and labor.

It's small L series. 6x10 block of wood and bottle jack and chock the front tires and wedge wood blocks between the frame rails and front axle. Use a full size floor jack and roll the back half away. This besides electrical, steering, linkages, propeller shaft (fwa) and hydraulics disconnections.

Agree completely - the halves of a L2350 aren't very heavy - fancy supports are simply not needed. Block up one half on a metal milk crate etc. and roll the other away on a floorjack. A piece of plywood will do under the jack if there isn't a hard floor. Whoever quoted 5k is just a crook.

What these guys have said is right on. Take your time, take pictures of each thing you remove, ask questions, as you remove hardware put it in containers to identify where you removed it form, and you'll do just fine.

Hello, I have to do the same job on my L2350. Do you have that service manual still? Is there a good part number for the whole kit? Almost looks like there may be 2 different sizes?
