I was putting my L3901DT away the other night and pushed the clutch in to shift gears and heard a load band sound and felt something under my left foot. Shut the tractor down and got off to look what could have made the noise. Looked under the tractor and found a spring. Wasn't sure where the spring went, then I thought about what I was doing when if heard the sound. Looked at the clutch pedal and saw the clutch pedal return spring was missing.

I have 212 hours on the tractor, I got it Dec 2014. Has anyone else had one of these spring break on them?

Yeah just did one about a week ago. Only one (well two now) I've seen/heard of that didn't have some sort of outlying issue...such as debris, logs, sticks, trees, rocks, whatever damaging either the spring or one of the spring hooks.

I found a spring at Tractor Supply that was close to the spring that broke. The Kubota dealer is over an hour away and Tractor Supply is about 20 minutes away. I bought a C-255 7/8 x 3-1/2 x .091 Utility Spring. Here is a picture of the one off the tractor and the C-255:
