Clock mounting

I have put about 70 hrs on the BX since purchase in December-mind you, being off work with this covid stuff gives more time to play. That being said, going on the hourmeter, I find hard to believe how fast time flies by when on the BX. I would like to get a clock and I thought I saw some interesting ones here on the forum. Can you post what you have and more importantly where it is mounted and if hardwired or battery powered. Thanks.

I like an analog clock so I bought a battery powered wristwatch from Wall-mart for $15.88, removed the wristband and ground off the little "ears" that hold it. I used velcro to attach the watch to the side pillar of the tractor's cab (cloth side to watch-sticky side to the cab's metal). The clock is weather proof so it would work on an open station tractor as well.

If you want a clock specifically for a vehicle then try a motorcycle shop - they can be purchased for around $50.00.

Attached is a photo of mine, the white numerals on the black face show up nicely.

I bought a cheap Chinese clock / temp display from ebay, battery powered, sticky-tape mount. Worked fine until moisture got in it. Pic is below. My current cab tractor has an integrated clock in the dash, which I love having.

I can keep pretty close time with my hour meter. Just have to reference when I start.
