I have the inner roof or headliner out of my B3000. I am wondering if anyone has found a good way to clean it. Mine's not too bad but could use a good clean.

I have had a lot of success cleaning roof liner, seats and carpets using a shop vac. For the carpets, I use a pressure washer first then immediately suck up the water using the shop vac.

Keeping the level of moisture under control and, after the shop vac, leave item cleaned in the open for any remaining moisture to evaporate.

In reality it is like a heavy duty carpet cleaning machine.

A mild detergent and soft scrub brush helps in heavily encrusted spots on the seat or carpet.

My ceiling has stains from opening soft drink cans.

I had my liner off to modify some of the wiring located above the liner. Decided it was a good time to clean the liner. I went looking for a carpet or furniture cleaner in a spray can. Found one with a nylon brush on the lid and the cleaner was designed for short nap carpeting or fabric covered furniture. Directions said to spray on (it was a foam cleaner) and let it saturate the fabric. Use the brush to scrub where needed. Let the foam dry and vacuum any residue.

It took out the finger prints and dirt marks on the liner. I was pleasantly surprised at the improved look. The nap on the headliner isn't very thick so a lot of scrubbing can remove the nap so don't be too aggressive with the scrubbing.
