I keep thinking I should apply something really slippery like this gatorglide to the bottom of my mower deck. A web search reveals there are all kinds of other super slick coatings out there too.
I'm surrounded by pine trees and the needles and pine cones usually keep the bottom of my decks clean. Like the previous answer of letting them chew some sticks to keep clean.
I do have a sweeper but it doesn't get all of them. The ones left over clean the deck.
if you have a pressure washer, get yourself an undercarriage attachment. Roll it under the deck, wash. Sort of like this one linked below. I made my own out of some pipe, a few fittings, and had to buy the nozzles. They are sized per the GPM and PSI of the pressure washer. https://www.amazon.com/Tool-Daily-D...ge+pressure+washer&qid=1689552154&sr=8-3&th=1

yes but grass still sticks. It gets up into the corners, builds up and it could be slicker than greased own snot but grass still sticks. Tried a lot of different things on mine, nothing really works. So I just have to roll the undercarriage washer under it once a season-done.
