Christmas shop or service the tractor

My wife says to me yesterday morning since its raining you want to go Christmas shopping saturday ? Hmmm let me think about it honey, well guys I thought about it on my way to pickup all I need to service my tractor . I let her know lastnight she may want to call our daughters and see if they want to go as Ill be busy servicing the Kubota. Whoa that was a close one !!!!!!!!

My Wife doesn't ask me to go Christmas shopping......You see, I worked at UPS for 30 years and Christmas was NOT my favorite time of the year!

My reason for not participating in black Friday was working on the kubota.
That tractor is very handy indeed.

Oh dern right! first things first!
It always works out I'm doing tractor work/maintenance before shopping on the way home. Then I go shopping smelling of diesel fuel and sweet 90W gear lube. If a "lady" in her finest froo-froo gives me that look, I look her in the eye casually, sniff the air and ask, "Is that cookies I smell? yummmm."

I guess I really have it made. My wife would rather be outside with me servicing the tractors instead of shopping. She hates shopping just as bad as I do.

The wife and I after some intense bible/history study came to the conclusion that christmas (and easter) is purely pagan......we nolonger celebrate.

And since then we have been stress free......truely a relief.
