We flew into Da Nang many times as it was a regular stop. Do not remember it like that????

I think had I run into Colleen McMurphy, I would have bloody well stayed,, I have give credit where it is due, she did bring to light a lot of issues, and portrayed the armed forces nurses in a very positive light. I know the ones that cared for me in NATTC Memphis, may not have been playboy bunnies ,,, I would have taken each and every one of them to dinner and dancing if I were able. Even Gunny Spring,, well she was a USMC Major, a big ol gal you would not want meet in a dark alley, and she had a heart of pure gold
