Checking Hydraulic fluid

After my tractor sits for a few days and I check the hydraulic fluid nothing is on the dipstick but when I reinsert the dipstick it shows full. Anyone else experience this ?

I know this is old, but I experience the same thing and it shows over full after re-dipping? I did not see any replies to this and I am hoping somebody might know what's up!

That's been a well-known "B" series trait.
They all do it.

After a long soak the stick becomes so well lubricated molecules slide right off.
