i found this posted on a Facebook Kubota group, it looks like it wasn't welded around the bottom

It depends on dealer BUT Kubota Canada covered the bad welds on the LA340 on my BX23s that's 5 years old/ 1100 hrs on the clock.
They didn't cover the BT603 joystick breaking though.....

I've had several bad welds break on the deck on my zero turn, but yeah that one would definitely turn into a very bad day.

Must have "passed" the inspector first thing on a Monday morning, or end of shift on a Friday!

I saw your post on FB, more people should hang out Kubota's dirty laundry. At least the parts were in the correct location unlike a part on my rig that was 3/4" off. My junk Virnig grapple had a tine that wasn't welded properly and it broke something like yours. This ain't your fathers world anymore.
